There are special scooters and bikes available, as well as motorised or manual wheelchairs, and special bicycles and tricycles for both children and adults, to help you get out and about.

Having your own transport increases your independence, so you may be eligible for funding to modify your vehicle. Vehicle modifications can make it easier to get in and out of your car, help transport your wheelchair without having to lift it in the vehicle or adapt your car so you can drive it with specialised controls.
